Glint
This adds a sparkle of light to a point you choose on the video.
Sliders
Size - Controls the size of the glint.
X - Controls the horizontal position of the glint.
Y - Controls the vertical position of the glint.
Usage
(Note: In OS X, you pick a point in the small preview window instead of using the sliders to pick the position of the glint. The X and Y sliders do not appear in OS X.)
Use Glint to add a sparkle to a piece of glass, jewelry, or anything you want the viewer to pay special attention to. The length of time it takes for the glint to finish is determined by the length of the clip. Use a long clip for a slow glint, or a short clip for a fast glint. Use the 'Split Video Clip at Playhead' menu in iMovie to create a short clip for a fast glint.
