The Pan effect pans across an image.

SLIDERS

• Point Picker - Selects the start point of the pan in the small preview window. 
• Zoom - Controls the amount of zoom. 
• DX - Controls the horizontal position of the end point of the pan. 
• DY - Controls the vertical position of the end point of the pan. 

USAGE

The Pan effect pans across an image.  Pan Gentle works like pan, but accelerates at the beginning and decelerates at the end of the pan motion.  Pan Swish does a very quick half-second gentle pan, then holds the end position of the pan.  Pan Start allows you to hold the position at the start of the pan.  Pan End allows you to hold the position at the end of the pan. 

The Photo version of each effect works much better on photo images - the pan will look twice as sharp on still images. (If you apply a Photo effect on a moving clip, motion in that moving clip may look unnatural, so this is not recommended.)
