Standard Wipe
This transition switches between the incoming clip and the outgoing clip by wiping from one edge to another.
There are two Standard Wipe Transitions:

Direction Arrows - Use the direction arrows to control the direction of travel for the wipe.
Special Settings - To access the special options, hold down on the OPTION Key and click on any of the Cinematic Transitions. A dialog box will appear where you can adjust the Fade Type, Color, Softness, and number of Ripples.
