Lightning
The Lightning effect casts a lightning bolt on the video image.
Sliders
X & Y - Control the horizontal and vertical position of the bottom part of the lightning bolt. (In iMovie 2.1.1 and higher, the X and Y values are set by picking a point in the small preview window.)
Randomness - Allows you to use a variety of random lightning bolt shapes.
Usage
This effect allows the user to show an object being hit by a lightning bolt. This effect also allows users to make lightning bolts fly off their fingertips. This effect works best with footage shot at night.
